Following the success of Race to Scafell 2011, Norfolk Tour 2012 will start on 1st January 2012. The competition is open to all paid up members of the group. (Non paid up members will have their mileage recorded but will not appear on the map or leaderboard until their membership is paid.)

This time, the race course is a route from King's Lynn to Norwich, however it goes via a number of waypoints forming a spiral towards Norwich, with a total length of 237.5 miles. The distance is achieved by completing group walks, and your marker will automatically move between waypoints until you get to Norwich. The race will run for the whole year, so even after someone has won; you can still try to reach Norwich in the year.
